Past that Bezels, and then if you can go to a junkyard and get the wire harness from a 72-76 year LUV you can just wire that in.

But if not then you can go to Kragen or wherever autoparts and get another connector and wire it in.

If you intend to run high watt halogens in all 4...I'd personally recommend that you switch to the higher output alternator too.

They made 2 different ones for a Luv built after '76...one for trucks without air conditioning that was rated at 35 amps and one that was for trucks with factory air conditioning that was rated at 50 amps.

They are both the same price...but you will need to make a few small simple changes to your wiring harness to handle the higher output alternator.

Take a look at this thread:

Hope this helps ya.

Will the existing fuses for high beam from a two light truck handle the extra current when running 4 lights? I was looking at the wiring diagram for my '82 because I want to put 4 headlights in as well. The lights from the '82 are each 65W high beam and the high beams from '75 are 37.5W each. So 37.5 x 4 = 150W vs. 65 x 2 = 130W...

What year did they switch from fuses to circuit breakers? The '82 has a circuit breaker and the '75 has individual fuses.

'78 (and I'd guess '79) still had the fusebox - and the separate fuses for high and low beams. Had to fiddle the contacts to get the left low beam to turn on normally. (It would find it's way on a random period of time after the switch was turned on...)
