Losing sucks. If you don't spray, spray. If you do, spray more. Of course I've done that and still have lost. I hope you have better luck next time.

well i think its not that bad because he has a track car that cant be driven in the street he was on slicks and its all plexi glass windows and a built to the max turbo motor. When i just have a stock 350 with a cam and a 125 shot of nitrous. Not bad i think. Btw my friends lost 300 bucks on that race oooooppps :(

There is no replacement for displacement that covers the engine and/or volume of spray. Now upgrade and hand the ricer his butt.

oh and judging by how quick your shift light came on after launch, I'd definitely lose the 4.56's for some 4.11's.

sorry dude. losing sucks. you got a quick truck though. it's faster than my pig. how "stock" is your 350? i.e. compression ratio... heads, timing, head gaskets, pistons.... things like that. i think i might have a couple ideas that could help you make more power with the engine you already have. just depends on what your setup is already. if i can't contribute, i'm sure somebody else on this board has some good advice.

There are plenty of kits on the market for 400 chev builds. something to ponder on a .030 over 400 ,6" rods, flat top pistons, good heads and intake.use a circle track cam(makes it more streetable) and the min power is 500hp and you can rev. it hard and not hurt it.A 406 like this can make 500lbs torq depending on your combo. You can even spray it if you use good rods and get real crazy with the power and still drive it on the street.

TJ gave some good advice. Just remember on the heads to keep the cc's around 74 to 76 on the street if you are running pump gas. Flat tops on a 400 with 64 cc heads such as the turbo heads or camel humps spec out around 11:1. I've had several 406 engines and they work well. I like a 406 over a 383 for street use since the basic difference is the bore size. There is no substitute for cubic inches. If you find a good 400 block, that would be a good way to go.
