I dont think tongue weight would be but a couple hundred pounds unless you beef up the rear shocks, as far as what you can pull weight wise, I recommend not pulling anything heavier then your truck

We kinda covered this with you a few months ago. The stock LUV can pull a fair amount of weight, but stopping is a concern unless you have trailer brakes.

torck????????????????????????????????????????????

i have pulled around 7,000lbs with my LUV before. But that was for a block or two and the other truck was on a strap with my buddy driving it. I also had to use my transfercase as a range splitter...

i just had 1200lbs of scrap metal in the pup the other day, and it handled it fine. well going and stopping wise. it was riding on the axle the whole time. it was damn low though. it looked sweet!!

but yeah, with the 1200lbs in it it just felt like it had the old motor in it.

on another note, me and TR tow barred the schools race car (3200lb 78 olds cutlass) out to the track last sunday with his 79 4x4, and it did it awsomely. we did 60 the whole way there. there was on spot where he used the transfer case as a splitter, but that was a start on an overpass incline.
