You and your stupid pictures, if you know were the stupid thing is then why don't you hook it up? Why'd you take it off in the first place? Jeez! Go buy a manual for your truck so you can have a picture there, if it's anything like the diesel sending unit it should just be one little slip-on connector on the bottom of the intake. It's not that hard, unless you completely re-wired your whole guage sys. then you just kicked your own butt right there.

The sender is on the bottom of the intake, pretty much straight down from the thermostat housing (where the top rad hose goes in). Taking a picture of it would pretty much require pulling the motor, this is not one you can just see, you'll need to feel around. It will feel alot like a bolt, but the end of it is shaped sort of like the head of a nail. There is only one wire to it, and it slips over the nail head. Yellow with a black stripe is the wire color if I recall.

Let's not turn this into a "no you shut up! No you shut up!!!" match, that's 3 year old crap, just hook up your stupid wire.

Chavy, this is alittle more info for you above what 800 said.

Next to your coil(the thing that has a wire to the middle of the dist cap) there is a 4 wire plastic plug. 1 wire goes to the temp sender,1 to the oil sender and 1 to the dist. I do not know what the last one is for. No take all this info and go to the wiring schem in the info area of this site to get the color codes and hook them up. This is not rocket science, just follow the wiring schem.

EDIT:: I have done all your research for you. Like I said, there are 4 wires in that connecter by the coil

1. grn (green) goes to the A/C if equiped
2. blk/red (black wire with a red stripe) goes from the coil to the dist.
3. ylw (solid yellow) goes to the oil pressure sending unit
4. ylw/blk (yellow wire with a black stripe) goes to the coolant temp sensor

if you find the wire Luvrv8 mentioned, look for your sending unit and hook it up... it's pretty straightforward.

then you need to crawl under your truck and find a spot to shine a light up in that area and see if it's there or been plugged off.. if it's plugged, get a new one..

there would be something in place of the sending unit if it wasn't there otherwise all your coolant would leak out a big hole. if you have aftermarket gauges then someone make have replaced the original with one for whatever gauges they installed.
