Larp: So I'm an asset, well the first three letters sound like something I've been called before.

I may not know everything, but I can come up with something to say about damn near everything. A good pile of it will be total bull, but I'll have something to say.
Robertcda: Personally its the bright yellow fog lights that get to me, the whiter the light the less annoying it is. Its the bozo driving on a perfectly clear night with yellow fogs that makes me want to close my eyes and hope I hit em.
Someone here posted a good write up of rewiring the lights to run off relays tied directly to the battery. That is a good upgrade in itself from what I've seen and heard. Isuzu eventually went that way from the factory, my 86 trooper has relays for the headlights. That would make a nice combo with better quality lights.
Basically you use the old wiring to close the relays, and run wiring through the switched side of the relay from the lights to the battery. It bypasses all that 25 year old small guage wiring to the headlights and gives them more power. More power equals more light. I found 30 amp relays for less than a buck at
