For all you that have doubts about the 4.3 dont its was any easy swap I got a 4.3 out of a 92 bravada removed all of the computer stuff got a manifold from edlebroc and a 600 carb from them also msd makes a dist for the 4.3 a nice one bellhousing from a monza let me keep the stock clutch cable camero t5 bolted right up had a drive line made to the stock rearend which i put a lockright locker in it. I use the stock 4 core radiator and a electric fan it stays cool enough this is my driver fun and fast

I have a 75 chevy luv with a 4.3 and a camero T5
the 4.3 is an 85 model with a STOCK gm HIGH RISE (hard to find) intake holly 650 carb
and HEI, I am using a 10 3/4 inch clutch on my T5 via the old old cast iron bellhousing has the small hole ...OH buy a hurst shifter for the T5 i did and that was my best invesment yet since motor/trans
I am using a Mcloed? hydriclik throwout bearing $500 damn dollars worth I couldn't find anything else that would make my combo work.


I did use the stock raditor on mine but everytime i punch it the temp went to like 240...just bearly moving along NO PLAYING it would run 210
the local raditor shop took 2 luv raditors and hook'em up together back2back...now it runs 180-190 all day long exacpt really hot days then its 220

my truck loves the 4.10s(rearend swap...stock on an auto) i put init....
the 4.56s where just too steep i cruise at 55 at about 2500 rpm u?

my truck just got painted a dark blue...with a 4 inch drop in the rear...

Hello well ive had it also for about a year my brother first put it together then i went through it. You asked what temp i run at it so happened to be 90 out yesterday and was stuck in traffic it got to 220 never boiling. I have a 2inch rear drop with 3/4 ton spings out of a longbed front has coil over shocks dropped enough to still have a ride tires are 265-50 15 rear 195-50 15 front never raced it yet buts its faster than my wifes camero that runs 14.5s im in construction it hauls tools to work to save on gas ill race it soon then post time or video thanks for your responce

I'm still considering this swap and wonder if you guys have any pics of your swaps either in progress or now that they are completed?

were did you get the adaptors and how hard would it be to do the swap with a 4x4?

What do I need for the swap because i have a 4.3 out of an 83 S10.
