I've had this combo for about a year now,drove every day yours?
And I thought my truck was a one in a kind....o well
I have a 75 chevy luv with a 4.3 and a camero T5
the 4.3 is an 85 model with a STOCK gm HIGH RISE (hard to find) intake holly 650 carb
and HEI, I am using a 10 3/4 inch clutch on my T5 via the old old cast iron bellhousing has the small hole ...OH buy a hurst shifter for the T5 i did and that was my best invesment yet since motor/trans
I am using a Mcloed? hydriclik throwout bearing $500 damn dollars worth I couldn't find anything else that would make my combo work.
I did use the stock raditor on mine but everytime i punch it the temp went to like 240...just bearly moving along NO PLAYING it would run 210
the local raditor shop took 2 luv raditors and hook'em up together back2back...now it runs 180-190 all day long exacpt really hot days then its 220
my truck loves the 4.10s(rearend swap...stock on an auto) i put init....
the 4.56s where just too steep i cruise at 55 at about 2500 rpm u?
my truck just got painted a dark blue...with a 4 inch drop in the rear...

what temp does yours run?
ever take your truck to the drag strip..i did mine i ran a 15.7 without the reaction time What was your time?
