you can change the intake manifold. I did that to my 85 Lincoln Town Car. It has a 302 that was origionally fuel injected. I took the intake off of a mustang cobra of the same year (a Police interceptor Crown Vic would work just the same)I put a 4-barrel holley on it, it ran a little better, I like it just because it gives my pipes that rough sound instead of the rhythmic hum you get from fuel injection. personally I would stick with fuel injection. It would be cheaper to buy a JET computer replacement chip (about $150), you get
much more power that way, just be sure to "break-in" the engine, don go around flooring it all day, granny it for a week or so, to "prepare"
