Just replaced clutch assembly in my 1975 Luv.
Clutch seems to be working fine, but there is a loud squeel when I engage the clutch.
Does anyone have any ideas why?

Thanks, Todd

Did you put it in backwards?

You took the words out of my mouth. It sounds like it may have been in backwards, or it was improperly torqued. Those are the only things I can think of, or the cable needs adjustment.

does it squeel every time you use the clutch, it did it on mine i just used to pump the clutch a few times and it stoped, my problem was due to a worn pressure plate

my friends luv did that exact same thing and it turned out that when he replaced the clutch, he installed the throwout bearing backwards.
