hey guys,
pardon me, this has probably been asked before and answered, but I couldn't find it in my searching (feel free to post a link to where the info is if so).
I have a 79' 4x4. I want to remove as much vacuum and emissions stuff as possible. Not because I hate the environment, but because I want my truck to be as simple as possible. It is an off-road truck, so no worries about emissions inspections etc.
The truck has headers on it, and the spots where the smog pump goes down into the cyl have already been plugged by previous owner.
The thermal vacuum valve is broken (as seen in the pic below)
I have attached the diagram also. What can I remove/plug so that I only have the essentials?
My last LUV truck (80 2wd) I had headers/offy/and weber. I kind of wish I had all that back again because I only had one single vac line on that and it went to the advance and that was it. This 4x4 has the Hitachi, stock intake etc... but it does have headers.
Thanks, Pictures for reference:
