 Post subject: RPM guage

now i was just sitting here thinking how i would get a RPM gaude to work in my chevy luv if it never had one so idk what to do about that haha anythoughts??

You buy an aftermarket Tachometer at your local auto parts store or speed shop. And read the instructions on how to mount it to the steering column, and wire it up.

Ok Haha do u think I would be worth the truble to try to get the old guages to work or go all new ones

Wiring a tach is simple: signal goes to the distributor side of the coil (make sure the selector switch is set to the number of cylinders in your engine), light goes to dash light circuit, ground wire to the truck frame. Attach it to the steering column cover with a big hose clamp or some screws.
