Hi All,

Bought a Weber 32/36 DGV 5A kit from Redline, trying to do the prep for the install. I read through the post from Fullaluv, his install seemed pretty standard. Anyway a few specific questions for the Weber gurus on here ---

-Fuel pressure. I have a 72, I haven't put a gauge on it but the manual says the mechanical pump gives 3.13 PSI. One source I read said maximum 3 psi, the install sheet says if you regulate it to 2 you'll be better off. I bought the Holley 1-4 PSI regulator, intending to regulate to 1.5 or 2 psi but it looks like it'll be tough to mount it and now I think I'm realizing that to regulate to 1-4 PSI you need to probably have about 6 or 7 PSI.

-Throttle linkage. My truck has a series of levers and pivots, not a cable throttle like the later Luvs (72 truck). I think everything will transfer, but has anyone done this?

-Phenolic spacer. Should I use it?

-Float level. You can't see it through the window like the Hitachi. Anybody have trouble getting theirs set?

Thanks in advance!
