 Post subject: back half my 72

i just got a 72 luv and i want to back half my truck. does anyone know which frame rail kit i should get and if im gonna have to do major mods to make it fit? thanks

Just for your info i used another set of frame rails from a parts truck to narrow my truck. Sorry i don't have pic's of the complete frame but i do have some from underneath that could give you an idea keeping in mind that it was built for heavy street use but can be lightened for racing(maybe 20-25 lbs).

Thanks everyone. I want to back half it for racing purposes. Ill probly end up building my own back half but its always good to have second opinions aswell as more ideas and would greatly appreciate pictures. Thanks

Yes good luck on your build and keep us posted.

JFYI on my truck i did it for the street with no cage but once a cage is installed the inner frame rails can be removed to save weight. I did it this way to stop twist and it worked.
