In checking out the Speedway header-exhaust manifolds? I don't think you will be happy with them, it appears you will have some interference from the sides. Like you have been already told, there are several designs of Ram's Horn manifolds, 2" short outlet, 2 1/2" short outlet from Corvettes, 45 degree kickback longer type, I have used the 2" short early Chevy type on many conversions successfully, just have to make a rather short bend in the header connection pipe.
I make my own motor mounts and in my present 78 and 81 Luvs I am able to use an HEI distributor along with an aluminum short water pump, and it is was not neccessary to cut the firewal in any way!
Some people on this site have used the newer "shorty headers", you might do some research on the site and find some good pictures of these.
Good luck,

Actually, I couldn't get the motor and transmission in there without cutting the firewall. The tail of the tranny wouldn't go under the crossmember and the pully was hitting the front crossmember and still will if I replace the firewall so that's why I took it out. I'm not going to have this truck for the looks but for it to run on a very very cheap budget. I already have all the scrap metal needed to fix any mistakes and to weld up my firewall but otherwise I couldn't of got the motor in without something interfering so the firewall had to go because it solved everything.
