Hows about fiting two luv cabs back to back on a modified Luv frame. Somthing like in the pic below.

Now if you could set it up to drive either direction, have a 4 cylinder for one and a V8 for the other. That would be having your cake and eating it too. You would also increase business for the chiroprators from all the next strains from double takes people would be doing.

Maybe we can pick up a couple of those Florian's and ship them home and then build some nice crew cabs .

I actually saw an old Mini Cooper welded back to back and looked very different. The rear steering wheel was locked in place, but could be unlocked to screw with people I guess. The LUV would be interesting! Close off the rear engine compartment and you would have a backward opening trunk. Just don't get drunk and try to figure out which end is FRONT! (I do not drink and drive). Title and license would probably fall under kit cars. I looked into that while in Las Vegas as I had a LUV chassis from one year, cab from another year, engine from a different vehicle, rear end assembly from yet another type vehicle, etc. etc. They said it would fall under the general title of KIT but would be given the name I requested, ie LUV truck. Don't know how other states work or what changes have been made to these ever changing laws. A guy there designed built a car that looked like the stealth fighter, and drove it enough to where I saw it several times, and it was licensed as the STEALTH.

rgw double cab thing was my initial idea, but after measuring it all up the wheel wells would come about 6 inches into where the door jambs are

On what chassis?? The SWB one.

Get a LWB chassis. From under an 85 and drop the cab on that.

Neither the sedan or the wagon had a cutaway in the door frame to allow for wheel base. The Luv?KB just happens to be short in SWB form.

Geez its hard work trying to find pictures of a Florian wagon. Imagine how hard it would be in the flesh to find one to eyeball.

Several VW Rabbit Trucks have been done. Even some have been done using the Jetta front end....
The good ones the rear doors correct and not for a rear fender on the back side of the door.
