i need alot of room prolly like a 6 inch cowl! i want to get a bolt on scoop ill weld it on and cut out bottom! I just dont know where to get one ? anyone running one or haqve any pics! :?:

yea i seen those thats way off budget for my truck ill just cut a hole in the hood!lol i figured they had a universal 6 inch cowl that i could modify to fit my hood there has to be someone on here that has done this!!! :roll:

I can't think of who it is but there is a cut to fit steel cal scoop out there that you epoxy glue on then finish the body work.Oh and when you put it on it better be right as you will tear the sheet metal before you get the glue to let go.

I am going to go though some of my magazines and see if i can find the glue on one as i forgot that a good friend of mine put one on his 57 chevy and it looked good like it was made that way.

I just looked on ebay motors.... over 2000 listed under hood scoops .

Just check it out... good deals and rip offs I am sure.
