HUH, its a direct replacement for the late model G180 used in LUV's from 76 on. Is your truck a 75 or older?

If you didn't swap the oil pan, it is most likely the problem...

Are you using the block mounts that the G200 came with? If so put on the G180 luv mounts and it should bolt right in kinda sounds like you have mounts for a isuzu car or something.

Yep, its gotta be one or both of those. Need the 4x4 oil pan and need the mounts off the LUV G180 block if using a G200 that was not from a truck. The Impulse mounts are very different.

I don't want to high jack this thread just throw in a side question sort of on topic. OK a 2WD oil pan will not work on a 4WD. But will a 4WD oil pan work on a 2WD?

It should I think. if you use a 2wd pan on a 4wd you will shear the gasket and leak all of your oil out in 1/2 a mile. Ask me how I know!

4wd pan will work in a 2wd. i put a g180 from an 81 4x4 in my luv back in the day and the pan fit fine.
