hey guys this might sound a little random but i cant seem to work out how to get my stock steering wheel off without damaging the factory center part of the wheel... is there a little trick i'm missing in this process...??? i just want to move it so it is straight to steer again... wow i sound so stupid but this is the only thig i hav not beeen able to nut out.. a quick help would be much appreciated, thanks heaps guys all the way from australia. :?: :?: :?: :?

if you still need to get the wheel off take the nut off spray some wd-40 on your shaft :lol: ok stop it you guys then put the nut back on not to far leave a bit lose then hit that bad boy with a big hammer as your buddy pulles on it but be careful not to screw up the shaft after it pop lose take the nut off and you got it off :oops:

Yea like budbuondo said put the nut back on loosely or youll be an idiot like me. I was in a hurry and removed the nut and pulled on the steering wheel really really hard. It finally came off but i pretty much hit myself in the face with the wheel. :oops:

A brass punch works good. I have used a block of wood too, it works ok.... Wear safety glasses. Don't want to have a splinter removed from your eve.

thanks guys... the wheel its self came off relitivly easy it was just the plastic cover on the horn of the stock luv wheel i could not work out.. thank heaps...
