It's been so long since I ran that scrawny size. Hotrod80 or CT's LUV should be along later and give the correct size. It will depend on whether you are running a stock width rear as to whether it will work though...

i wanna say it has a shortened 10 bolt in it i dunno how much its been shortened or anything i bought the truck like that.. i''m just now gettin into this whole luv truck dragster thing so i'm gonna have a bunch of question as i go along.. its already set up for a v8 and i've completely gutted inside of cab and cut out all the inner fenders up front and got it sanded down and in primer just waitin for some more money so i can do some more.. another question.. where can i get a weld in rollcage designed for these trucks that require no bending(pre bent).. that way all i gotta to is stick it in weld it and be done or is that not gonna be possible?

with a 10.5 and 4.5 inch of backspacing i had to use a 1/4 inch spacer on my pro stars but with a 4 inch backspacing it was ok , until i turned onto the return road and it would rub a little bit due to low presure and tire flex. i have a 9 inch tire and its a really good fit.

ok here is a picture with a 10.5 left side and a 9 on the right, this is a 15x8 with 4.5 inch back spacing.....notice the gap from frame to tire.

Image

this is a 15x8 rim with 4 inch backspacing wheel and the tire tread was even with the outside of the bed, i never had it hit the tire at all

the luv i have already had the adapter for a 5x4.5 bolt pattern i'm guessin the adapter is 1/4 inch i'm not sure i havent really looked at it but i know its on there... i would imagine its probaably wider then 1/4 inch... i plan on running 15x4's on the front i know those will fit for sure but i was thinking about running a 15x10 rim on back with a 10.5 slick plus the adapter of course.. not to sure if it'll fit i'm not really wantin to cut the fenders move the frame and etc.. nor do i want the tires to stick out of the fender either..

Yup , CT's correct 4.25 " back space . You may also have to smooth some frame issues with a grinder .

4.25 " is the most backspace that will fit in a stock set up . I also run 15x8 4.50 with a .25 spacer . A 10" rim will just move the tire out further . Just to make sure we are talking about a true 10.5 tire , not a 10.5W . It is pretty close as you can see by the pictures .

28/10.5/ 15 slick with 8.5inch rim and 4.5 basckspacing will work u have to grind the frame smooth all the way across, fold the inner fenderwell lip in, and bea the ineer tub so the tire its then frame first

here is an old pic of mine

the hood i got from unlimited products or up as is referred on here, not the greatest quality hood, it needed alot of work to make it a good quality hood which i did not really care about, i would recommend getting one from somewhere else

I have found no one other than unlimited at this time that makes a LUV hood. I haven't been able to find where the ebay seller in Tx is sourcing his yet. I have checked with Harwood, VFN, Hairy Glass, as well as others. I am mostly searching for a bolt on cowl hood though...
