Whats the biggest tires size I can use without lifting the truck, will have to move to 15 inch rims, 14 are hard to come by these days?

You cant fit much if your not prepared to lift and trim, A torsion bar lift and longer shackels ain't hard to do, niether is trimming the fenders.

i have a vary mild lift (i think 1") and i trimmed my fenders back a bit. I have run 30" tires but they rubbed alot, i curently am running 27x9.50R15 Super Swamper SSRs. They dont rub except when the truck is flexing, alot and i try to turn. I did run a set of P215/75R15s stock for a wile. They would rub if i hit a big rock in the road though. I just trimmed the fenders back a bit and ran that way for years. You can also put a baseball bat on top of your tire (once you have the larger size) and roll the truck so the bat gets forced between the tire and the fender. That will give you enough clearnace untill you have time to trim the fenders.

This calculator will let you figure out the profile you need to run the 15" rim without going to a larger size outer diameter tire. Essentially, if you drop the sidewall profile by one series, you should be able to put the 15" rims on without having to change anything else. If you are running 75 series, 14" tires then you'd want a similar footprint (width) in a 65 series 15" tire. Watch for width, as you may still get some rubbing in front if you go too wide.

Good luck :)

only problem with that is most all terain tires only go down to about a 28" diameter. So if you want to run a more off road tire youre probly going to have to do something to the backside of the front fenders...

I am running 235/75/15's and they working fine on the street except under hard braking. I do get more rubbing when off-road. If you are totally against cutting/trimming, then get about an inch from your torsion bars and then put on stiff shocks. Less shock travel will definately help your cause.

With a lot of trimming, about 5 inches, you can fit 33X12.50 pretty easy. I also have longer shackles and cranked up torsions.

Torsion bar lifts aren't the greatest thing for these trucks... Wears things out, and if you haven't noticed, they don't make parts anymore... best bet is to get a beater 'Yota... pull the front end outta it... Pref solid front end... Good luck...
