I called Schucks and Autozone, both say they don't list it. Anyone know who carries one? Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is available, but I have successfully repaired one of these senders in an old Rambler. It's a bit time consuming, and there are some sensitive bits involved.

Here's a Porsche 911 article on repairing a sending unit, I haven't had the Luv unit apart, but I believe the technology is the same. It gives a good outline of what to look for.

There is a guy in Montana parting out a '75, 'fbugadbug' on ebay. He may have one, not sure if he's a member here though.

You may want to put up a wanted listing in the classifieds also.

If it can't be fixed one solution is to by an aftermarket one with fuel gauge from jc whitney (#zx124229x) for ($24.99). It is adjustable for gas tanks from 5" to 27" deep. You will have to do minor mod work to it to get it to fit but it will.
My sending unit was not working when I bought my truck and was going to use one but I was able to fix the factory one. The float was not rubbing against the main shaft so it would not send a signal to the gauge.

One thing is when you use a different sending unit you can't use the factory fuel gauge. You have to use a fuel gauge with the same ohms.
The kit I talked about has its own fuel gauge.

I bought the universal fuel sending unit with fuel gauge from JC Whitney also. Pretty easy to install.
