Has anyone done a disc brake swap on the stock rearend? I have my truck completely bare to the frame and I'm going to do a swap on the rear to dics. I did a swap on my toyota and my k5 blazer it wasn't much work. Just want to see if anyone else has done one.

Thanks,
Craig

How about a S-10 rear wiyh 82-92 F-body disc. brakes it would be a bolt on deal and you would have a better choice of gears as well as a stronger rear end, oh and you can get a posi too.

Thats the big question is the s-10 rear is better? Might be might not. The rearend in my truck has custom machined fullsize moser axles that are resplined and sized to fit the luv rear. This rearend has been under the truck for 8 yrs and never broke a axle. With the 383 and a set of drag radials. The truck was a street/strip setup when my father owner it. I personaly don't want to go to 5-lug because it takes some of the originality away from the truck and i'm going to do a disc brake setup on the stock rear.

Thanks,
Craig
