I have gone over all the grounds and everything appears to be solid

any ideas as to what it might be?

if not im just going to re-wire the mother

if you have a volt meater and now how to use it you can find it that way it may not be a ground it may be a bare going through the fire wall i had the same problem it ended up being my fule pump wire

The second fuse

i also just checked to see if it was my fuel pump wire, unfortunatly for me it wasnt

Sinse it appears to be in the lighting circuit, you need to unplug all the lights--both tail lights, front park lights, etc. It could be something as dumb as a bad bulb. If it dosen't blow the fuse untill you go to the headlight position of the switch then unplug both headlight bulbs and try again. Plug the lights/bulbs in one at a time until you find the one blowing the fuse. A bulb that is black is definately bad.
If you find nothing there keep in mind the instrument panel lights also come on with the light switch so could be a problem there. Noting if the fuse blows in the "park light" position or the "headlight" position should help you narrow it down.

hm...luckily i just bought more fuses so ill test your theory and see if thats the problem

i have a couple of reasons that lead me to believe that this might be the cause

:lol: your right it is dumb

but if it fixes my problems

ill let you guys know
