Wow really? How far you I wonder. But the problem is that I dont have anything to drive anymore. Maybe if Neil ever gets the Pup running again we would go on a road trip and come pick it up.

well i finally got the weber on it, and OH MAN did it make a difference!! such better throttle responce and it revs soo much faster now. and itll ilde at 800rpms and i can let the clutch out and itll go without even touchin the gas. man i love this carb!!

another thing i found out, the carb that i have is a 32/32. both the barrels are the same size, so the secondary doesnt do that boggy thing when you get on it. it also has an electric choke, thats works quite well, i might add!! the carb isnt really that loud either. im really gonna like this thing!!

heres a few pics of the finshed install.

oh and the other thing that i like. the whole swap cost me $13!! HAHA i love cheap stuff!!

I actually liked my 32/32 almost better than the 32/36 other than the manual choke it had. A little less noise, the secondary came in smoother, and of course it didn't clog up with crud every 40 miles. My 32/36 had been sitting for years and I didn't rebuild it though. Either one is a step up from the Hitachi, except for the noise factor.

Engine oil..., not gear oil..., you'll screw it up farmer if you put gear in it.

According to Isuzu, the tranny takes 30W engine oil, not 90W gear lube. Never heard of a tranny screwed up from running 90W, but it isn't what the manufacturer recommends.

well its been a while since i updated.

i put some more fluid in the tranny. it smelled like it HAD 80/90 in it, but the tranny was so low on fluid that i didnt bother tryin to drain it. so i topped it off with some chevron 30 weight and it doesnt whine so loud now! imagine that? 8)

i also adjusted the A/F mixture, and the difference that it made is like night and day. i had just slapped the weber on it and went and it had benn runnin oober piggy. so now its really peppy. i got it up to damn near 70 in town today. it wouldnt do 70 on the freeway before. so im pleased with it. its getting a lot better milage now too :D

oh and i took out that stupid toolbox too. it was ugly as sin.
