 Post subject: 1977 Willed to my wife

My wifes grandpa passed and left to her aunt a 1977 black luv with a ton of rust which she gave to us!! Pans are flintstoned along with a quarter of the bed.. I have some skills in welding bodywork etc.. My question is.. If I buy a bed to replace the rust will a s-10 short bed be good for the raised ridges in the bed. It seems they should match up. There is a guy on one mans junk with a clean bed for sale for 50. Thanks for any answers.. Cheers!!
