pretty crazy. I think that as we all know, however, technology can and does fail, and when it does, it will be us guys who fart around with our completely mechanical little Japanese Chevy trucks that will have cars to drive. To speak like a :twisted:

all it will take is one good solar flare to wipe out all the satellites and perhaps anything with a transistor in it...what the hell happens then?! You better have the skills of the past to survive in the future...

Not trying to hijack the thread but if financial times keep going the way they are all the technology won't help us much in the immediate future. Knowing how to turn a wrench, repair your own home issues and plant a garden cold be key to having a decent life. Hopefully we won't get to that point.
