Welcome and there are a lot of of Oregon LUV owners. I'm just up the road from you in McMinnville. Post some pics or tell us a little more about your truck. If its white and has diamond plate rocker panel covers well I can tell you some stories about that truck...

Thanks for the welcome.
I dont know much about this trucks history other than my friend owed it for about a year and didnt do anything to it. I got it last Friday, It only ran on 3 cyl. and the valve train sounded like a soeing machine. I replaced the dead wire with one I had lying around and ajusted the valves. Now it runs like a top. I still need to do a tune up. It has a Webber carb and a header. I am pretty sure the owner before my buddy was a tweeker because the wireing under the hood and in the dash is a mess. I will be doing some wireing. This is my first Luv project I usually build IH Scouts or Trucks but I wanted to do a mini truck this time. I like to be different from my friends so I though a Luv would be perfect. First thing on the ajenda will be to crank up the torsions and do some shackles, I have some 2" blocks for the cab and the bed will be removed for some frame bobing and a flatbed. This it what it looks like right now but this is the only picture you will see of it in this condition. I have to get it ready for the winter snow wheeling!

Welcome to the site. The sewing machine cracked me up! When I first bought my Luv, it was missing all the vaccum lines and I had to figure it out. When first started mine, it sounded pretty bad too.
I'm planning on doing some snow wheeling too. What type of tires do you plan on putting on our Luv?

When I can afford them I will buy some 31/9.5 TSL Swampers but for now Im just going to use some used mud tires that I have lying around.

Small suggestion...
If you're lookin' for a snow setup, the best way to go is narrow tires... the wide ones tend to float on top and lose traction... and the aggressive tread likes to get all caked with snow, which turns to ice...

Oh, and have fun! These little trucks can do some big things.
