I learned detailing as a teenager & worked for several new car dealerships (2 yrs @ a Winnebago dealer) eventually running a 5 man crew for a Volvo shop (even detailed Gulfstream G-5 private jets in Savannah for awhile!), had some Chrysler factory training in light duty mechanics & new car prep, was a service writer, new & aftermarket accessory installer (wheels, tires, sunroofs, lift/lower kits, light bars, bed rails & covers),drove a small Mercedes 5-ton box truck delivering 300# ice blocks to shrimp boats, framed houses, FINALLY quit drinking  , went back to college & worked my way thru waiting tables & tutoring math & now I teach middle school Science. Still not done learning & still not sure what I wanna be when I grow up. :? :?:

Not anymore, think on a much much bigger scale.

Example

Just got done running 45,000 yds of California.

12 plates in 1 linear yard

12 X 45,000 = 540,000 plates 8)

I was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the State of California, Dept. of Transportation for 12 years. With my back injury 2 years ago I have been off work since, not sure if I can still work with Heavy Equipment, I may have to retrain.

I'm a 17 yr old arky. I go to high school, go to a college class (machine tool technology) and then work for a wealthy friend for about 3 hrs a day. i take care of his yard, garden, house, cars, dogs, and do all the maintenence around the farm... it sucks but pays ok, so i cant complain. after work and on weekends, i spend all my free time on my trucks, and sometimes I go visit my girlfriend...she envies my trucks cause she thinks they're more important...I dont reply... anyone else ever notice that girlfriends are fun, right up untill ya get to meet the parents? then seems like it's just a matter of time till it all goes to hell, wether you do anything wrong or not. mabey some men are a little too fond of their daughters...
