I built my car the last idiot was ur average ricer. so i got it dirt cheep with a good body interior, nothing worked now its all gravy but i dont have dash lights just yet so i guesstamate how fast i'm going at night. It was in Bad engine shape. now it doesn't miss a beat. cost me 8 grand total. 1500 for the car, 6,500 in parts and never repeat never took it to a shop. Listen, I am a factory Mitsubishi mechanic trained at the U.S. Mitsu headquarters in Cypress California. I own several Mitsu's including a 95 mighty max, 02 Diamante, 03 Diamante, 05 Lancer and a 04 Gallant. I doubt anyone on this site knows more then me on Mitsu's. With that in mind I would bet that your Lancer with ported and polished head will or would beat a EVO. I would also like to say that as a racer with many track championships street racing is a joke. When I race I want to race and win against the best, the best are not on the street, they are at the track. I have had several members here at my house and have seen with their own eyes the work I do and the race cars I put together for the track, like my last car with a 410 ci all aluminum engine, so I know what I am talking about. Some ricers are fast and most are a joke, but this is a site for Chevy LUV's, lets try to stay on track.
