Hi I'm from MS. I've got a couple Luv's I like them.I'm wondering about the MPG I get about 33. mostly on the interstate @ 70 to 75 Mhp.

Thanks I was wondering most are talkin bout 40mpg.I've just put a 2"exhaust and a 5 speed tranny.

That's good, unless they're diesel. If diesel, it's on the low end of the normal range.

Edit: Waitaminute! At that speed, 33 is pretty decent, even for the diesels. And if they're 4wd, it's amazing.

I have a 78 and an 80. Both have new engines and both get about 19 - 23 mixed local and highway. The 5 speed must help a bunch.

I have a 1980 4x4 that always gets between 25-27 mpg. It's not the best lookin Luv, but I wouldn't trade it for a bran new toyota.
