it runs once again!!

i finally got around to puttin the weber from the pup on it. it runs soooo much better now with the new carb.

so i put some fresh gas in it, pumped up the tires, drove it out of its hole, and went around the block once with it. it drives so nice. even with junk tires on it. im gonna have to get used to the brakes though. theyre kinda touchy when you finally get the pedal down to them. lol. theres still a couple things that ive gotta do to it though. i still have to hook the taillights back up, get a headlight, fix one of the heater hoses.

im definantly gonna get it registered this week. ive got all the paperwork sorted out, and insurance is only gonna be another 20 bux a month to add it.

ill get some new pictures of it tommorow maybe at the idaho meet, if the weather works out.

OKAY!! i think its finally ready! ive spent the last couple days tinkering on this damn thing, and im finally ready to get it registered and on the road.

i got the wheels and tires from the pup on it, the tailights hooked back up and working, tuned the weber a little, and put another heater hose back on it. i still need to get a headlight put back in it, but that can wait till tomorrow after work.

thing that pisses me off though... the damn gas gauge doesnt work now. it worked like a week ago when i pumped out all the bad gas. maybe i just need to put a full tank it it to get the sender to pop back up. i dont know.

all i do know is that im gonna be driving this thing on tuesday and that all there is to it! i cant stand drivin that gas hog of a GMC anymore.

Congratulations on getting another Luv, "on the road again"! It's a very nice looking truck you have there Farmer! I hoping you're gonna repaint it the same yellow? No offense to anyone else's Luv', but I think the yellow, red, and of course the light blue on my Luv, are the best looking colors on these trucks. I'm happy for ya, Farmer!

now that ive driven the luv, im thinkin about mono-leafin it with some airshocks. reason being, on the way to work this morning, i caught a length of high spot in the road, and it just showered sparks behind me.

so im thinkin, a set of airshocks, a harbor freight compressor, a 3 gallon tank, some 3/8 air line, and 2 ball valves. should be like $200bux worth of stuff.

im also going to rebuild the exhaust on it. im gonna use the most part of the exhaust from the pup, and make it really damn cool. lets just say, there will be fire involved.

theyre 15in rims with 195 50s on em.

and ive made my mind up on the mono-leaf and the air shocks. i figure, if i spend like 250-300 on the luv, i still have like 300 left for stuff for the pup. everything is gonna get done.

so, in the near future, im gonna be draggin like a mofo! expect wild and crazy videos soon!
