well i got my 2wd luv home.
and in it was a Buick v6.But it needs to be redone top and bottom the guy said.
So i thought about putting a chevy v6 in it
Will i have any trouble with the distributor or anything like that?

Why not find another Builck Fireball in a junkyard to use? There were LOTS of models in the late 70's early 80's that used it.

Other than the 4.3 chev motor there are no other chevy V6's that are either worth putting in or easy example 2.8 to heavy for the power it makes it can be made to make power but cost to much and the 4.3 becomes cheap,another motor to look at though is the 93 up f-body 3.4 with the 5spd if you can do the conversion with the computer this light weight little motor would be a perfect setup.(look how good they do in a 3500lbs f-body)I thought of doing this setup my self if i can fine another truck in good shape.
