It was about .450 lift and 260 degrees duration at .050. It was as big as they could make it. It sounded like a V8 but the valves were noisy. An old guy (Babe Erson) did the came in the late 80's. He died about 5 years ago.

hmmm. thats pretty cool. theres a guy in austrailia selling a 297duration .470lift cam for a G seires engine. im gonna buy it from him as soon as i find out how much flycutting the pistons is gonna cost.

297 is not at .050 lift. That cam is probably really close to mine if measured at .050 lift. It should work good. I also had my head milled for more compression.
