Is it possible/feasable to remove a rear window and get the rubber out in tact. I have a sliding window in my other truck Id like to put in the 80 and im not sure on the availablility of the rear window rubber. Or does anyone know where one can obtain rear window rubber?

It can be done, but you have to be careful, and go slow.

At this time, you cannot buy a "new " rear window seal. Only used ones, so be very careful .

i found a place called steelerubber. saw them on car crazy on speed channel. there website says they offer front and rear rubber, with or without trimlock. no door seals though. the guy on tv says they can make any seal you want with a good sample. and of corse enough $$$$$.

Now do I just push on the window and pop it out or is there a special trick. If I was just replacing the rubber I would just cut the lip and pull out the window. Do I need to lube it to help it out? Anyone tried this before?

i alwayes used my hand on the inside top corner and pressed ... from the out side used a screwdriver to go between the rubber and cab , push- pry once it starts to come out just work your way around from the inside and have some one on the out side to hold or catch the glass.... did this 4 or 5 times a year when i had my canopy with reach threw ( no window ) in cab

My son has a new rubber and slider in his 80. I took it out with ease when painted it. Just start at top on one side and work your way around. Might be a different gasket than an original.
I have some friends that work at a auto glass company I can check with/

It looks like JC Whitney has a complete body-seal kit that includes fron, side and rear glass seals.

No idea how it fits, though.

Edit: Nevermind - it's a Blazer kit. :(
