well after 2 weeks of freezing temp's it's been in the 70's on my day's off, I took parts from my rebuilt Hitachi and put some on the luv carb, I also put in the new accelerator pump, it's not bogging down at all now and I laid some rubber down, there is one thing though, I think it is in the ignition switch, it was having problems starting and now it won't start at all with the key, I have to turn the key on and bump the solinoid to start it, is that a ground problem or the key switch?

I have my grill out and painting it also.

I hear ya Dave, warm temps finaly.

Have several Luv projects lined up, this weekend will be valve adjustment, check all torque under v/cover, & painting the cover, new gaskets & good tune up.

Spring break is right around the corner, going to take a shot at the "$50 paint job", had good success on my test piece.

I pulled out my grill and the head light trim, painted the grill with about 10 coats of gloss black, and I am going to repaint the inner trim back black, and I got some testers model paint and I am going to redu the chevy emblem that was on the grill, I can't have a nasty bow tie on the new painted grill. Has anyone ever fixed the tabs on their grill both of mine are broken, any ideas?

Repainted my bowtie a month or so ago with Testors. Turned out nicely.
