Im confused with which wires are which. I looked at the electronic ignition upgrade in the technical articles and it looks like I am missing number 4 the green wire. Also where the arrow is it looks like a connector was broken off. Could that be the black wire that connects to the negative side of the battery?

haven't seen one like that, mine is internally regulated.. just hook 2 wires and go let me see what the other motor here has its a g200 and ill get back to you if it has one like yours

I had the same problem with mine come to find out the ignitor was dead so i upgraded to the crane cams xr700 ignition system.

yes theres usually a connector there for ground, not necessarily directly to the battery.
the wire with the green connector is a hot wire that connects to the harness (also green)on the luvs equipt with electronic ignition, the other wires i'm not sure of where they go since their not original.

If your upgrading I think all you would need is 12 volts, ground, and the dist, plug.

maybe someone on here knows which wire on the ignitor is the positive....
or check the upgrade article. 8)
