No, a little easier. Engine compartment is a little larger.
A lot more S10 V8, than Luvs.

I have been a member there for a long time too.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

yeah the s10 is a breeze compared to the luv. botl in motor mounts are available, driveline work is seldom,... stuff like that.

i would suggest that you check out http://www.v8s10.org

ive been on alot of other swap sites, and you just get alot of the newbie bashers there. v8s10.org is alot more laid back, and willing to help a guy out.

I used s10forum.com for a long time... its the best site I had found
There is also s-series.org, mys10.com, s-10planet.com
This was mine http://www.geocities.com/iamerron/errons-10
just a little 2.2, Cant do too much to your only daily driver.

You can also go to JTR.com (Jags that Run) and get a book for the whole DIY, very very good book. I would suggest you pick one up.
