i took off the smog pump and rail.
now i'm getting a high pitch chirping sound .can any one tell me what it could be.

btw i pluged the holes where the rail was

Did you plug the vacuum line to the smog pump?

yeppers i fouond it i had a leak on the manifold it must have cracked

I had a cracked manifold. It was overheating from the timing being way too advanced and the carb adjustment. Once those things were corrected, no more red glowing manifold. See if it glows in the dark when it's idling.

naa it was from me i tryed to change it but where rusted in so i stop i did not i split the thing lol i had a freind weld it back but now im on the hunt for a header for it (cheap) i hope i paid $500 for it and now i got 1300. in it so far still not bad the damm little thing just keeps running.
aftre header only thing left is im going rino line the whole truck in side and out

Pacesetter's header goes for around $145.00 (unless you want to pay about $75.00 more for the real purdy powder-coated one), plus about $15.00 for shipping on ebay...they work OK and seal well to the block.

thats as bad as i thought going to check on them i hope to have some pics of the luv in the mudd this weekend first time taking it out this hard lol prays it holds up
