i dont think its an isuzu head. the intake and exhaust ports arent spaced right and theres no hole in the intake side for the distributor. that and a 4Z head would have a "4ZD1" or whatever tag cast into it to identify what its from.

I thought that on some of the isuzu engines the distributor came straight out of the back too? :?

It kinda looks like the Luv style head a bit...how do you know it came from a Luv engine?

It has the air injector holes...and the exhaust and intake ports look similar...but it's been a while since I tore one apart...so what the hell do I know?

I couldn't tell you what I had for breakfast...I suffer from C.R.S pretty bad....lol

I think that head is for a mitsubishi 2.6 eng out of an early 80 Dodge caravan etc, or the dodge ram 50, or the little mitsubishi mighty max pickup, same as dodge ram 50. The fwd, and rwd engines were different, external design and would not inter-change.

Don't mess with me and Mitsubishi's they are my favorite cars and trucks and I have plenty Mitsu's to prove it. I have a 95 Mighty Max, 02 Diamante, 04 Gallant and a 06 Lancer. I am also a ex Mitsu master mechanic, I worked at a dealer here in So Cal for several years.
