Hello, so glad to find this site. Had a 79 LUV given to me, and have worked out a lot of bugs out of it so far. Clutch cable, bracket under dash, and a tune up. Good to have something I can work on for a change. When I get it done I plan on giving it to my daughter.

Welcome Mace. good to see another sort of local!!! I was through Wheatland 2 Thursdays ago on my way to Worland where my parents are and came back through last Monday. Was blowing pretty hard (as usual), couple of semis blown over on the north end of town. Ate at the Burger King there on my way up!! Not many registered here from Wyoming and you are the first I can recall posting on the boards!!!

Welcome to the site! I agree with tilted if your going to do a engine swap go ahead and v8 it. The only compromise would maybe be a 4.3 because it would be easy to upgrade to a v8 from there if you desired to. Again welcome aboard!

Roger on the V8. I think i'll wait for the kid to get tired of the truck before i do anything to radicle. Sure looks like it would be fun to make a sleeper and blow the doors off some of these kids around here. There i go being a mean old man.

Welcome to our site. This will be the only site you'll ever need for your LUV. Need it, you can find it, need to know what to do, just ask, you'll get more responses than you'll ever imagine.

Welcome aboard!
