Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Man those were the good ole days. Now just try to get your car up to the line with a big ole stogey in your mouth.

First clip I have seen in a while with the late "Jungle" Jim Lieberman pulling a nice little burn out about half way through the clip he was pretty cool to us 2nd gen camaro and or vega guys.

I was raise up to think the 17 time world champ "Big Daddy" Don Garlits was the most important man to ever walk gods green earth, I was hearing stories about him before I ever heard about Santa Claws, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.

You can still sneak a stogy up to the line down here in the sticks. Least at Paradise Drag Strip.

Again awesome vid!

Ahhh...the noise, the smell of burnt tires, the pulling a lot of g's when you launch, the celebrating when you win, and the cussing and throwing wrenches when something goes wrong....what's not to like about that?

I can still remember those good old days...and a few of the hangovers they caused too...lol

Here is a short vid but ran across it, I remember seeing this car when I was a little shit. Many of you may have heard of it "Hemi Under Glass" was a car that toured around the US doing wheelies.

In 81-82 i toured with a wheel stander called the" Defiance" and a "Little Defiant" The big one was a White Freightliner with a Allison aircraft motor and the little one was a Ford econoline pickup with a 392+.060 Hemi. If you listen close to the hemi under glass car you will here him shift it while it is in the air not bad considering it was a 4spd car that was built to test parts and the rest is history.Man those were fun times hell i still have pics. hanging on my wall of the ones i worked on.Just for your info the big one was sole to Tyrone Malone and re painted three shades of pink and was part of the Bandage Bandit show.
