Good job!

And yeah I think they would sell...and I'll bet if you put a few on ebay...that they would go pretty fast.

Especially if you had some that were made to fit other trucks.

BTW....you know this is not helping my tinkering-on-my-truck-in-my-shop withdrawl one bit.

Cursed cold weather...grrrrrr.

Dude that looks sweet ctmandu, I like the looks of the Honda console as well up there. Sounds like a real reasonable price for a pretty cool set up, will there by chance be a way of using one of these without damaging the factory headliner for those of us who are still lucky enough to still have em.

Not sure yet. The front will go on with a little slit in the top but the console would cover it and you would never see it unless you took it out... as for the back part if I made them about an inches longer I think it would go with out damage but 2 unseen screw holes

Cool thats what I wanted to know, and thanks for stirring up new ideas ctman. You have gave me a few ideas to play around with. I need to look around in a few scrap yards thought of doing something along the same idea of the honda console but maybe using something like a blazer console....or 67-68 fast back mustang console or just whatever neat I can find. You've been a inspiration.

Edit:

I believe that the mustang console would look pretty good in there although the only function would be another overhead light I think it would bring a cool little touch to the inside of the truck.

Those are nice and have looked at them but they are to long and need to be cut down (the mustang one)

Well work was cancelled because of ice and snow so I have been working on the Honda console (restoring) it, turning out pretty good, got rid of the Honda emblem with a chevy one or will have a small luv one made later. and thinking of way to incorporate a width wide console with the Honda one and if I cant will just go with the Honda one… when its done I think people that don’t know better will think it was a option on the truck if I do it right

Nice ctmandu. The vette badge is a nice little touch.

What if I went with a coup, weren't they a few inches shorter? If not I guess my search continues.

Even those I think where to long by about 14 inches if i remember right... Ask a guy on eBay that has one how long it’s been awhile sense I looked...
The Honda one is 25 inches and has a bout an extra inch or so to the back wall so it couldn’t be much longer then say 26 or 27 at most

Bummer It is a little off friend of mine has one and I had him measure it he said "6 1/2 wide at the back, 7 9/16 wide at the front, and 35 5/8 long"

So...8-9 inches would have to be removed. :(

Your price sounds fair to me. I'm not interested in one because my trucks are, and are staying stock, but if I was doing a custom truck I would say hell yes.
