 Post subject: Adapter Plate

I was wondering if anyone knew where to find an adapter plate(engine to tranny) for a C223 diesel to the 4 spd tranny that sat behind the 1.8 liter gas motor. I know that the starter is on the wrong side of the motor and i want to keep the 4 spd. The motor i have has a plate on there now with a hole for the starter and i want to find one that would put the starter on the other side of the motor. Im not worried about the exhaust interfearing with having the starter on that side because i am going to fab up my own to fit a turbo on. Thanks

Can't you flip the old plate backwards and put it in?
