In the information section of the site there's basic measurements of the LUV that are common to all 72-80 models.
Tell your friend to go with the LUV because of the fact that the LUV has a larger engine bay and the frame itself is stronger than the Courior.
There's a reason why you'll find LUV trucks at the dragstrip and not too many Couriors. The frame alone is reason enough to opt for the LUV.
There isn't a Courior website that covers all kinds of ways to build a powerful performer AND a ton of site members that can give solid, positive advice.
Im not trying to bash the Courior, it's just that it's so much smoother to go with a LUV build. If one were to build a lowered custom or something else that would stay with a stock engine, then by all means do it!
But from a performance standpoint, the LUV has the capability to make it happen with alot less work.
