stock luv capabilities, for 4x4 off road-as in doing some mountain trails, sand,river beds. I was looking for info before I try to go 4 wheeling and I don't want to get into a bad situation.

These trucks will go pretty much anywhere you want them to go, as long as you don't bottom out. There isn't much ground clearance, so you have to be careful where you go.

I am going to get it after the holliday, I sold a bunch of stuff to buffer the cost, I didn't want to spend everything I had. I should have it by middle next week.

well i wheeled my truck a bit when it was stock. It was perty impresive, these trucks are set up for getting loads over dificult terain. Dont be afraid to get out there and beat it a little bit. I have tried to bust my truck and its never let loose. I would say just throw a highlift jack in the back and go try to get stuck. Thats how i gaged what i needed...

well... i took the ol 79 out the other night and scared myself. i dropped it off a 6ft drop over a 3 ft puddle with river rock in it. 8O the scarry part was that i was staring straight down at the ground. i had two guys holdin the back bumper so i could bite the back tires. soons as i got to the bottom i got stuck in the rocks and had to rock it out.

:twisted: 79 luv 4x4 lincon locker 2" body and 29's.
heres another trip up a straight up hill with ruts n holes in it after a set of 35's dug down n got stuck. had to winch da last part... :evil:
