Well the wife some how figured out what I needed for the LUV. She got me roller rockers, tall aluminum valve covers, Pete Jackson gear drive and a aluminum water pump for Christmas. How did you all do?

Kind of a small year around here this time. Last year was big. Two new quads. Today we are going to my sisters, across the steet and 5 houses down...... I hope I don't hit too much traffic.

I see you have a Dwarf Car. I used to build and race them, I now run sprint cars. I used to race (years ago) with CDCRA.

Santa was going to put new "Shoes" on my LUV, but No, it snowed the day I was headed to Les Schwab's! I called first, and was told there would be at least a 2 hour wait......

Why the hell don't people think ahead, and buy snow tires BEFORE it snows?????????  :?

My getting tires had nothing to do with the snow, and everything to do with the 2 huge gashes in my sidewall.......

Pant, pant, pant....... didn't mean o go off on a rant, and Hi-Jack this happy post! :D

I'll get'em this weekend.... (If it don't snow again!!!)

Merry Christmas! :x-mas:

My Luv did quite well this Christmas. It got the Hooker headers, engine and trans mounts, Thanks again Terry and LuvrV8. Also got a RCI fuel cell, a pair of Mickey Thompson ET street radials, and a chrome diff cover for the dana 44. Here's hoping that everyone here at LuvTruck.com had a great Christmas and have a happy New Year! :D

Hey Luvrv8,I race with SODCA,I just switched from modifieds this past year. I have raced with a couple of guys from the cdcra when they came up to Yreka.I might run with them at a couple nationals this summer. You don't happen to run a limited sprint (carb'd)do you?

Mad Dog, we run 2 Focus midgets, 2 mini dwarf's, 5 360 alchy sprints (Gearte) engines and we have 1 USAC 410 (gearte) engine and car as well. All sprints are non wing (like they all should be). My team has also in the past help put a driver in a IRL ride for 1 weekend to the tune of 225,000 for 1 race. We also sponsered him in 4 NASCAR Truck rides with Manard's. The USAC 410 car is the best of the best, one member here,Roadshow Bob has seen it as I was building it. It is a 900+ H.P. beast.

I am sure you raced with my good friend Bill Vanprag (Blue Crawford Chassis car that hauls ass). Redish Dodge Duelly with a 35 foot 5th wheel trailer.

So did you build these and if so are the running FI or duel carbs like in the UK... i have thought of doing this on the luv to have the twin cam and easy parts. suppose to be a great motor? Can you give me some info on then like power, trans for rear wheel drive and how easy to convert to carb or strip and use simple fi computer
P.S. now back to Santa

Ctmandu the run on alchy injected, it is a simple system I will get pics this week and pm them to you. And yes they do haul ass. As with all race cars in our shop I built them, not the frames or engines, but everything else. The Focus engines are sealed and cannot be messed with. Some people it is rumered have broken the seals and milled the head .010 and reterded the exhaust cam 4 degree's and found seals on the internet, I wonder who they are?

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
