i seen a pic on here of some front rotors that was drilled out for 5 lug and i cant seem to find it or remember who posted it. can anybody here point me to the right thread with that pic?

i talked to a machinist here locally and he said its common to dril from 4 to 5 lug, but he has never went from 6 to 5 lug. i told him about a few here having it done and he would like to see a pic before attempting it.

drilled rotors are not supposed to do much. slottrd rotors let the gases out and cool better. i will see if i can find the referance and post it.

the drilled holes in the rotor face does not concern me. i was lookin at tj's and they look 5 lug but i cant tell very good with the towel in the way and the backside pic is kind of dark.

I've been looking at the Aerospace brake kit. This is the best deal Ive found so far:

Autofab race cars;
Autofabracecars.com;
ph. 410-796-8777
part # AC247
$581.00, FREE shipping.
I got this through the racingjunk website. You may have to mention racingjunk for this price.

If anyone knows where they can be found at a better price, let us know.

These are Toyota rotors and they are vented with a 5x4 1/5 bolt pattern check in the chassis forum and you can find more info under my post's.

Slotted rotors may be better but wasn't going to pay anybody to slot mine, so i drilled mine to help degas and to make them lighter,i also made them directional to look better as you can se them while on the trk pretty easy.
