alright i'm goming home down 85 just south of union city. i'm driving my black '72 c/10 short step in the left lane. there was some traffic but no real hang ups. well, douche mcmegathunderanus in his little ranger wanted to be slick and try to pass in front of me and some other cars. i suppose i was going too slow for his tastes. so he goes over one lane to the right passes the cars that had been to my right that i had just passed. i'm going about 75 mph, i think. i got plenty of room between me and the car directly in front of me about 7 car lengths IIRC. i'm not even paying any attention to that bridge maker. he then starts cutting over to get between my front end, a tractor trailer that is at my 3 o'clock, but there isn't enough room between my front bumper and the aforementioned tractor trailer. basically he almost plows into my passenger side door/fender area which would've sent me into a concrete wall at 75 mph. i do not see a happy ending with that, especially wearing lap belts. then he gets pissed, then somehow gets around me, then slams on HIS brakes. forcing me to slam on mine causing me to lock up my rear tires, and probably almost get rear ended myself. i'll be the first person to tell you that truck of mine doesn't like that, at all, especially with the light rear end on it. i thank god or somebody that he did not hit me and that i did not rear end him when he maliciously slammed on his brakes. i see the other probably outcomes from that situation as being not very good. either i'd be dead because i got slammed into a wall at a high rate of speed, or i would have done some serious damage to that s.o.b's. body if i had been able to walk afterwards. i just have a lot of sweat, time, blood, and money in my c/10 the same as you guys have in your LUV's. if it's going to get tore up, i want to be responsible for it. not some impatient cunt in black ford ranger. i'm sorry if my rant offends anybody. my nerves are just sorta shook up after that whole incident. i had to blow off some steam. i'm usually a rather happy and docile person.

Sounds like CA driving.

Not to downplay your story, but out here in CA we deal with that shit every day. There's been a couple times I thought I was actually going to have to get out of my car and beat some ass. But then you get shot, so...

Anyway, I've decided that these idiots are just trying to make up for a small penis.

Denver is the same way, dont know about anywhere else but they dont teach drivers ed in the schools anymore so that is a lot of the problem. The other problem is all the illegals driving way under the speed limit trying not to get pulled over (and deported again). There was a bad accident going south of here a few months back on the highway, the speed limit is 75 out of town and a van of illegals got rearended doing 35 miles an hour, its was like they were stopped on the road, people couldnt get around them in time. I almost want to become a cop that gets traffic duty, man I would be writing some tickets and the driving schools would be overflowing!!! Sorry to hijack your post mouseman, glad you didnt have to stack up you and your truck!!! 8O

I was gonna say, "I'll bet you wished you were a cop right then". We all know the feeling. One time some idiot little girl pulled out into my lane doing 55 and the rest of the world was doing 80+ (4th of July weekend). I had to lock up my brakes to keep from running her over. And what really fried my ass was that she had that damn cell phone glued to her ear. I wished like hell that i was a cop at that point in time. I wouldn't have ticketed her, i would have confronted her parents about the situation and i would have laid out in detail how close their daughter came to causing a major accident on I-35 during one of the most busiest driving days of the year.
I was shaking for miles after that incident.

I'm about to hang a big orange arrow that points to a yeild sign at one of the intersections in the mall pk'ing lot near my job... pulled out infront of about 20 cars after waiting forever for at least 1 person that would realize there's a yeild sign there... better yet, there were two cops on bikes 200ft away and 1 that's always in a car at least 100ft away... I was in the pup... i'm waiting for the day i'm in my LTD and get rammed... (my uncle got his chevy 1500 totaled by an LTD, they were only going 35mph and the LTD came out with a beat up fender...)

Another thing I can't stand is someone who can't use their turn signals...

I think it is time we mount the hidden rocket launcher on your car just for these occasion. I like to sneak up next to the cell phone talker and hon my horn it is pretty fun to see if they can whip their head around and still hold on the cell phone

I think it is like that everywhere. I drive 110 miles a day round trip to work, and that usually happens to me at least once a week. It isn't as bad now though. Now I am driving a GMC Jimmy instead of my Toyota Corolla, so I guess people realize the Jimmy is going to hurt them a lot more than a Corolla will.

i used to drive that route literally EVERY day. either back and forth to work or school. that's the first time i've had that happen. it would've been cool and just let it go, but the jerk wanted to take shit to the next level. that's when i got angry. i was shaken up at first. i was so shaken i missed my exit by 3 exits. yeah i went all the way down to the hwy 34 in newnan. i was still shaking when i got to wendy's. i was all paranoid everyone was trying to hit me. my driving record isn't exactly squeaky clean, so i'm extra careful when driving. that and my truck isn't covered by full coverage, once it's gone, it's gone.. no fixing it. to me there is not amount of money in the world that could replace it. i got a lot of sentiment attached to it. maybe i'm over dramatizing. some people should just be sterilized at puberty. that's my story. hope it was a good read.

Oh man. Everyone was a good read! What a place to vent!! I'm looking around the website, and this thread is a very entertaining one! It conjures up images in my mind of all us LUVvers going down the freeway en masse letting the world know we won't be trifled with! Maybe having a paint job with some shark teeth on it for the lead LUV. I feel your anger and I know the feeling. Some people just don't think clearly, or might be on dope. I had to breathe a sigh of relief that none of the above got killed. I thought the rocket launcher was a great idea!

Mightymouseman you win when you make it home in one piece. Way to go!!

I Agree.....I Had A Moment Just A Couple of Hours Ago I Was Sitting There Trucking Along Running About 55-60 and All The Sudden This Little Chick In A 05 Mustang GT Pulls Out In Front of Me Insist of Driving 35 (and Its Not Like She Couldn't See Me Coming) So I Have To Lock It Up and Due To A Wet Road I Begin To Slide So I Nail off In It and Go Into A 4 Wheel Drift Around This Little Yellow Mustang. Then She Gives Me A Look As If I Was The Idiot For Driving The Actual Speed Limit Witch Is 55. All While She Is Probably Still on Her Cell Phone Giving Play By Play About How Stupid People Drive Now Days.......Which If I Hadn't Thought of Nailing off In It To Get It To Turn I Would Have Creamed The Ass End of Her Little POS Ford.

So I Dunno Whos To Blame....Women Drivers, Stuck Up B!tches, Cell Phones, or Moronic Drivers.

why are most of the pretty ones senseless, and the less attractive ones smart? it's very rare you find one with both brains and body.
