I just got a 1973 Luv. The backup lights dont work. The bulbs and wires are o.k. Is there a place I can get a new switch (4-speed). Or is there a switch from any other vehicle that will work ?

I have an Isuzu I-mark which isn't that different than a Luv (Isuzu P'up). My back-up lights wouldn't work and a friend told me that the electrical connections seem to get dirty and to clean them off. I unplugged the connections and plugged them back in many times (in and out...in and out) and that cleaned them off and my lights worked again. Since then I have had several other connections get dirty and that has worked every time. I picked up some electrical connection cleaner and spray them down when it happens now and I'm hoping that will prevent it from happening again any time soon.

I think I saw a source on ebay in the Luv Truck "buy it now" section. I would look up the site for you, but I'm damn near blind after searching through all 931 parts listings for a throttle control cable. Good luck.
