On the front you just take a few turns out of the torsion bars and cut or remove the rubber bottom out pads.

On the rear, you add lowering blocks and longer u bolts.

Not sure what the problem is with yours but every one I have lowered I have done this way... yours may be stuck or if it is possible someone may have replaced them and didn’t set them right? Not sure

CTMANDU is right, I have lowered several this way. Like he said, maybe someone has indexed the bars wrong. You should notice a difference after about 2 turns.

Ok so what where you loosening. And good luck should be a lot easier now... Also remember after you lower it to where you want ride around the block and recheck sometimes one side settles more then the other and you may need to make another adjustment

If you loosen the torsion bars and lower the front your actually unloading the tension and softening the spring rate as well.

Makes the front of the ute roll heaps when you turn.

Depending on how far your lowering you should pull the torsion bar out and move it around a spline.

the torsion bolts are reverse threads right, so to loosen them i have to act like im tightening them right or are they normal bolts?
